Who are we and what is our story?
We are a family owned and operated custom home building company based in Anthem, Arizona, dedicated to bringing quality craftsmanship and attentive service to homeowners throughout the area. PHK Custom Home Builders LLC was founded in 2009, and over the years we have grown into a trusted name for custom homes, remodels, and renovations across the North Phoenix region. Our story is one of steady reputation building, rooted in a commitment to doing right by the people we work for. We did not get here through flashy marketing. We got here by treating clients well and letting our work speak for itself.
At our heart, we are a close knit, family owned and operated business. This family first value shapes the entire experience of working with us. Rather than treating clients as transactions, we focus on building comfortable and lasting relationships. We guarantee our work, stay available during projects, and follow up after completion. This dedication has earned us a steady stream of referrals, which we consider the best proof of our commitment to service. In fact, most of our work comes from referrals, and to us that is the most meaningful sign that we are doing things the right way.
We operate as a full service general contractor with a strong team of trades people we trust. As a Design Build contracting firm, we are able to handle every aspect of a project, from initial design all the way through final completion. This means you do not have to coordinate between multiple separate companies. Instead, you have one trusted partner managing the process, which helps keep everything organized, transparent, and aligned with your vision. We have found that this approach removes a great deal of the stress that can come with building or remodeling a home.
Our track record speaks to our experience. Over our years in business, we have developed land, constructed dozens of stunning custom homes, and remodeled well over a thousand properties in the area. We bring together a wealth of expertise and experience, guiding you through every step of the process, from land development to obtaining the certificate of occupancy. With more than twenty years of experience in the construction industry, we have worked hard to build a solid reputation of integrity with our clients, and we do not take that reputation for granted.
The values that guide us are straightforward and consistent. We believe in Family First, Attention to Detail, Creative Solutions, Efficient Service, and Experienced Craftsmanship. These principles are not just words on a page. They show up in the way we approach each project, prioritizing open communication and making sure every step is transparent and that your vision is understood and executed well. When we say attention to detail, we mean the small things that you will live with every day long after the project is finished.
We serve homeowners throughout the valley, and we have built a reputation for excellence and attention to detail that we believe makes us a strong choice for people across the region. Our commitment to top quality workmanship, creative solutions, efficient service, and experienced craftsmanship has been the cornerstone of our success. Whether you are building from the ground up or updating an existing space, we approach the work with the same care and professionalism. For anyone considering a building or remodeling project in the North Phoenix area, we offer the combination of local roots, proven experience, and genuine personal attention that we believe makes a real difference.
